Does OnlyFans Allow AI? OnlyFans AI Rules Explained
Updated November 5, 2026 · OnlyFans Finder team
Short answer: OnlyFans allows AI-generated content, but only from verified creators, only of
themselves, and only with a clear label such as #ai. A fully AI-generated model with no verified
person behind it isn't allowed on OnlyFans, and neither are deepfakes of anyone else. Here's what the rules say,
where the grey areas are, and how OnlyFans compares with Fanvue and Fansly.
What OnlyFans allows
- AI-generated content of yourself, once your account is verified. OnlyFans' CEO has said creators can use AI only after verification, and that the content has to feature the verified creator.
- With a label. The Terms of Service say AI-generated content must be "clearly and
conspicuously captioned" as AI-generated, with a signifier such as
#aior#AIGenerated. - AI as a tool behind the scenes: editing, captions, scheduling, planning content. Nothing in the rules stops you using AI to help run your page — the rules are about what fans see and who they talk to.
What isn't allowed
- Fully synthetic creators. Every OnlyFans page belongs to a verified adult, and AI content has to show that person. An "AI model" that doesn't exist can't have its own OnlyFans page.
- Other people's faces or bodies. Deepfakes or AI content of anyone who isn't the verified creator (or a verified co-performer who agreed) are banned, like any content with unverified people.
- Unlabelled AI content. Posting AI images or video as if they were real breaks the labelling rule.
- AI chatbots talking to fans. Reuters reported in 2024 that OnlyFans' terms prohibit creators from using AI chatbots, and OnlyFans says creators are responsible for every interaction on their page.
The grey area: AI and chatting
Messaging is where most OnlyFans income comes from, and where AI is spreading fastest. Many agencies use software that drafts replies with AI while a human reads and sends each message — that's how those tools say they stay within the no-chatbot rule. A bot that replies to fans on its own, pretending to be the creator, is the thing the rules are aimed at. If you use any AI help with messages, a person should check and send every one, and fans paying for personal attention shouldn't be misled about who they're talking to.
OnlyFans vs Fanvue vs Fansly on AI
| Platform | AI content of a real creator | Fully AI creator |
|---|---|---|
| OnlyFans | Allowed for verified creators, labelled #ai | Not allowed |
| Fanvue | Allowed, labelled | Allowed: the account is verified and tagged as AI |
| Fansly | Photorealistic AI not allowed | Only non-photorealistic virtual creators |
That's why "AI OnlyFans models" mostly live on Fanvue, not OnlyFans. In the OnlyFans Finder index, none of the 8,517 OnlyFans pages we track describes itself as an AI model in its bio. More on how AI models work: AI OnlyFans explained.
What happens if you break the rules
OnlyFans can remove content, stop payouts or close an account that breaks its Terms of Service, and the creator — not the agency or the software — is responsible. Losing a verified page with its subscribers costs far more than any time saved, so treat the labelling and verification rules as strict.
For fans: how to tell if a page uses AI
- Look for
#aior "AI generated" in post captions — labelled content is allowed. - Skin, hands, jewellery and backgrounds that look too smooth or change between photos are the usual giveaways.
- Replies that arrive instantly at any hour, in the same style, may be drafted with software — ask the creator how they handle messages.
